MODULE 7

ADVANCED PRACTITIONER SKILLS

Journaling Exercises

Please take some time to complete the following journaling exercises. As with all journaling assignments, you are not required to submit these for review – they are entirely for your own personal and professional development.

We do ask that you complete the journaling exercises, as they provide an important opportunity for self-reflection as a future practitioner.

Keep in mind that, once you’re working with clients, you can give these same journaling exercises to your clients as homework assignments to help support the work you do together in your coaching sessions.

  • How would you describe your own personal coaching style?
  • Make a list of the qualities you have that contribute to your coaching abilities.
  • Considering who you were and what you knew when you started this training, how would you describe your overall learning? How have you changed and grown?
  • Name some practices or insights you’ve learned in the training that you are inspired to put to personal use around your own relationship with food and body.
  • Are there any ways you can think of that this training has impacted your personal life?
  • Where is Life calling you as a professional?
  • What kind of information and wisdom are you most inspired to share with others?
  • If you could do this training over again, what, if anything, would you do differently?

  • Are there any key insights or memorable learnings that you’ve had about men?
  • Are there any key insights or memorable learnings that you’ve had about women?
  • What’s been most challenging for you about this training?
