Session 3

The Science and Psychology
of Emotional Eating

In this session, we take a deeper dive into the science and psychology of emotional eating. We discover how the phenomenon of instant gratification can drive our emotional eating, and we learn how to best regulate this natural urge.

We see how stress, anxiety, and negative thinking can catalyze the physiologic stress response, which drives us to emotionally eat. We learn about the cephalic phase digestive response, willpower, and key practices that can help set us free.
